Hampton dress & shirt PDF & Paper Pattern

The Hampton dress is a loose-fit above the knee dress with 3/4-length sleeve or full-sleeve options. The dress has a gathered skirt, pockets, a button-up front bodice and a two-piece shirt collar. There is also the option of a simple shirt, with the mentioned details, plus a back yoke and pleat. The dress does not have a back yoke.

This pattern is suitable for confident beginners.

This pattern has been designed for lightweight woven fabric with little to no stretch. We recommend something with a nice drape but a little bit of weight to support the button stand and collar. Lightweight cottons, double gauze, linen and blends, chambray and similar fabrics will all work well.

Sizes 4-12 - 2.4m / 2.6 yards
Sizes 14-18 - 2.8m / 3.1 yards
Sizes 16-22 - 3m / 3.3 yards

137cm width fabric:
Sizes 4-12 - 2.9m / 3.2 yards
Sizes 14-18 - 3.6m / 3.9 yards
Sizes 16-22 - 3.8m / 4.1 yards
Sizes 24-32 - 4.3m / 4.7 yards

150cm/59" width fabric:
Sizes 4-12 - 1.4m / 1.6 yards
Sizes 14-18 - 1.8m / 2 yards
Sizes 16-22 - 2.1m / 2.3 yards
Sizes 24-32 - 2.6m / 2.9 yards

137cm width fabric:
Sizes 4-12 - 1.8m / 2 yards
Sizes 14-18 - 2.2m / 2.4 yards
Sizes 16-22 - 2.5m / 2.8 yards

You will also need:
- Lightweight fusible interfacing
- 12mm (1/2”) buttons. (4-6 for the dress or 7-9 for the shirt depending on the size set).

This pattern is available in UK sizes 4-32 and comes in two size sets (4-18 and 16-32). With the PDF pattern you will receive all sizes. With the printed pattern, you will need to choose your size bracket.
