The Ally skirt features a high waist, full lining, darts and centre back invisible zip. It is a mini skirt and has a slight a-line fit.

The Susie skirt is a simple a-line skirt with no darts, front slash pockets and a centre back invisible zipper. The skirt has no lining and so is perfect for heavier weight fabrics.

Sizing:

This pattern comes in two size options. Size UK 4-18 (roughly US 0-14) and size UK 16-32 (roughly US 12-28). The crossover sizes in this pattern are very similar, the main difference being that the waistband has been split in order to fit on shorter width fabrics.

Skill level:

This pattern is labelled as advanced beginner due to the skills required to insert an invisible zipper and add pockets, however this is detailed with easy to follow instructions, so a confident advanced beginner will also find this challenging but not impossible!

A basic knowledge of how to use a sewing pattern, and basic sewing machine knowledge is needed for this pattern.
